Quote from: PROUD MEMBER on August 21, 2025, 03:43:50 PM... with the increase coming in October with the Unemployment rate come the end of June, nobody (with the exception of members that work a 2nd job)is going to want to work summer school. So all the bottom guys will be forced to work it.

I don't know if it's really going to make that much difference. With all the money people make covering work during the year a lot of them decided not to work even this summer.

The more important question is how many retired ? And how far do I move up ? 🤔..................

I don't know how many retired however I heard the union is looking to push you down in seniority ... meaning lesser seniority, not greater!  :))  :))  :))

I remember when Senority actually meant something but for the past 10 years or so it really doesn't make much of a difference if you're #50 or #250.
Having said that this will be the first year in a long time that seniority does make a big difference. Reason being is with the increase coming in October with the Unemployment rate come the end of June, nobody (with the exception of members that work a 2nd job)is going to want to work summer school. So all the bottom guys will be forced to work it.

Quote from: WhatBusToday on August 20, 2025, 04:12:17 PMThat's what I meant sorry.  We started September with the runs we ended with in June the last few years so is that happening still or are we actually gonna pick different runs

As of right now the pick is still on. HOWEVER, that may change.

Stay tuned.

Haven't picked? I mean it's been delayed a couple of times but gen ed picks twice a year.

Quote from: Buzz on August 19, 2025, 07:56:13 PMThe special ed runs are hanging. There are 76 so far. Drivers room will be open from 9 to 12, possibly longer.

No word on regular ed runs or when they will be able to be viewed. (I asked)

Is Gen Ed actually picking this year ? We haven't actually picked in a few years
