Failed Murder - Suicide!

Usually a murder - suicide involves two or more victims. In this case, there was only  one. Just as the Grinch was tightening the noose around his own neck, a knife-wielding miscreant ran up and and sliced him in the torso ... not once, but twice.

Apparently the driver arrived in time to keep the little fella from hanging himself, says his injuries are non life- threatening, and she vows that she will stitch him up and he will live to see another day.

I'm not so sure.
