One of our very alert and always thinking members says this past pay check was the last week for the $10 deduction for what we owed toward the our pension for the months we didn't work during the pandemic ... for some of us.

If your deduction for this week week was $2.40 you're done. If it was $10 another $2.40 will be taken out this coming check. The difference is some people worked a week when public schools were closed and it would have been taken out of those checks.

Thanks, PROUD MEMBER ... always on the ball!

Mine still shows 10.00 taken out. I was explained I believe last year where it says Goal 2 on the check when it hits 400 dollars that's when it stops. Mine is at 350.00 next to Goal 2 as of last weeks pay check with again as I stated 10.00 taken out

I don't think we owe $400. You next and final deduction should be $2.40.

It was for 40 weeks correct? 10 times 40 is 400

It wasn't 40 weeks. If it was 40 weeks that would mean we were out for an entire year which would mean that we owed over $1600 to our pension. We were only out for approximately 8 1/2 weeks.
