Year round Schooling

Both Eric Adam's and Curtis Sliwa were both in favor of Year round Schooling ! Now Bill Deblasio who is probably making a run for Governor during a radio show yesterday stated that he is all in favor of the Children of New York to attend school "till Late in the afternoon and also School all year round ." He said "The Children of NY Deserve that" ! With the exception of 2 weeks off I believe. I doubt the Teachers Union would go for that . But if it does happen I'm gone ! What about you guys and girls ? The whole reason I took this job was to have the summer off ! Just my opinion but Both Adam's and Deblasio could go eff themselves!

Would never happen for the reason you stated ... the UFT would never allow it. Neither year around nor extended day.

But in areas where they do have year around school, it doesn't mean 50 weeks of school with only 2 weeks off. They get a couple of weeks break every two months or so. Still, I'd rather have the summer.
