Inspectors

In all my years I never can understand why when a driver says "radio check for the inspector" that another 10 drivers will immediately ask where are the inspectors?

If they're at the school that you're going to, are you not going to go there?

If you're on your way to that school with a broken light are you going to pull over and fix it?

My opinion, when an inspector here's that (which obviously he/she does), if you get the wrong one on the right day, you are only asking for him/her to find something wrong with you or your bus or any of your fellow drivers or their buses.

I don't ask but I do like to know in advance ... in which case I will get to my slot one minute before dismissal rather than 15 minutes before.

I've actually gone PAST my slot when I saw inspectors at the school and went around the block and waited it out. For no other reason than you might get the bitch that counts band-aids.
