Union Meeting Thursday

Not much advance notice ...  (and still no mention of a strike vote) ...

Even though it's a pain in the ass to drive to Ozone Park for the Union Meeting I use to go as much as I could anyway. Unfortunately I lost that motivation to take the trip. I don't know if it's my health, my age, or whatever. It's just a shame. Even though over the years it basically didn't make a difference whether you attended or not to me it was just the right thing to do.
The reason could also be that lack of motivation. One would think with three months to go on our current contract and with the lack of and need of drivers not only at Pioneer but throughout 1181 that there would be more talk from our President, Delegates and Stewards and not just a monthly email (that not everyone gets) and sometimes a piece of paper hanging in the drivers room saying that there's a meeting.
I hate to say it and correct me if I'm wrong (about anything I just posted) but it seems to me the most noise we the members hear is when people are looking for our votes!
