If you have to open a new unemployment claim do it today or certainly this week.

Certify on Sunday.

If you opened a new claim this past week certify today or any day during the week. This will be your unpaid waiting week. (Makes no sense at all to have a "waiting week." smh)

If there a new FEIN number? the prompt says its 9 digits now?

On our W2 it's 112347655 but I believe they give you the option to skip that and just put in the employeer's name on the next page.
