Aren't you the one that said our Union has no balls. NYS has labor laws and we have a contract.
Bottom line this shouldn't even be a discussion. Yesterday at the latest all the drivers should have gotten between 14 1/2 and 15 hours pay for the three videos.
As a Member you should be 100% agreeing with me and not saying I'm splitting hairs.
It's really not about when we get paid or if we get shorted a 1/2 hour pay.
It's the principle how our Union Representatives and our Members just let this owner do what he wants!

Splitting hairs was in reference to what is considered work.

Just received an email from Pioneer this morning and if I'm reading it correctly NOBODY will be getting paid for the foreseeable future for the videos. I hope I'm wrong!!!

The excuse that the Union is working on it or has meetings set up is played out.
I've talked to whoever is in the know and makes the decisions. Just give us a SPECIFIC reason why we haven't been paid yet.
As far as I'm concerned at the latest we should have gotten paid for all 3 videos no later than July 3rd. Tomorrow is July 17th. Three pay periods later and still no money.
Bottom line
If there is nothing in the contract or the NYS Labor Law that says the Company can hold OUR MONEY than just file a formal grievance!

Totally agree, PROUD MEMBER. I don't know why the union is dragging its feet on this. When Carmine's dad was president the contractors wouldn't even think of pulling a stunt like this.

yeah this is appalling. we did the work now we should get paid for our labor. no excuses; and the company is behaving unlawfully.
