another week and counting with no payment for the coursework we did. in what world is it ok not to pay your employees for the work they did? i don't do this job for love, that's for sure. this while new buses are bought and displayed to taunt us. there's clearly the money there. i urge those of you that haven't already to bug the fuck out of the union and something might get done.

Again the email was sent yesterday and it seems that we aren't gonna get paid until everyone who hands it in hands it in complete with no errors because it says they are returning it to people with address errors and other stuff as well etc 🤦🏻�♂️

Am I wrong by saying that if they pay us now it will screw up our unemployment? If we are owed 14 hours and they pay us for 14 hours we would have to put that down as "Hours Worked" for the week. I am willing to wait until our first paycheck after we come back if that's the case. Just my thoughts ..

Not really because when we get the extra checks during xmas and Easter when we claim UI we don't put down more than the 0-10 hour mark so I don't see how it interferes with UI

That's why Scott is insisting that payroll split it up so that we don't get more than 10 hours in any one week.

I agree. When we certify for benefits every week it doesn't ask how many hours did you get PAID last week. It asks how many hours did you WORK last week.  And obviously the answer to that is zero hours!!!

I agree. When we certify for benefits every week it doesn't ask how many hours did you get PAID last week. It asks how many hours did you WORK last week.  And obviously the answer to that is zero hours!!!

Look, they can't cover every possibility. They're not going to say, "How many hours did you get paid for training?" ... or anything that specific. The assumption is that if you worked, you got PAID. Work = Pay. Even if it's for work you did in the past.
