Hello All,

There's a sign on the window in the driver's room. DOT will pave AKR this week.

I just spoke with the owner of the RCL Storage Yard. We can fit approximately 2 dozen cars "BEHIND THE FENCE" in the back of his yard on the Left side. That is Inside the Gate - Not in the front!

He is willing to let you park there for this week only for $10.00.....

I counted approximately 80 cars parked in the street from the yard to Bloomingdale rd. There must be at least 20 more cars parked in the other direction towards Tottenville. That's 100 cars with No parking on the street and looking for a spot in the morning.

If you need a spot this week, you must see me First and I will give you a temporary permit to park behind the fence.

FIRST COME FIRST SERVED - LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE!

Thank You
Gary 209

ps: you can get my cell # from any of our steady parking permit members, and call me.

i just got off the phone with the PBGC again, once i gave them the EIN number that buzz provided in the link, they said 1181 was listed as being insured by the PBGC. {i didnt have that information when i first called, maybe thats why i got the wrong information ?] i just wanted to clarify that, and i am sorry for the misinformation, but it was certainly not intentional.

Again, I apologize for jumping to the conclusion that you originally posted to stir up trouble. I wasn't sure what was causing the conflicting stories. One of our drivers was talking to fund director, Bob D'Ulisse, yesterday and, in reference to your post, he asked Bob why you may have been told we weren't insured. He said it was probably because you did not specifically indicate that it was ATU 1181 Pension Fund you were inquiring about. If you just phrased it ... for instance ... as "local 1181," or "our union," or 1181 Welfare Fund, they are not insured as such.

Thanks for helping to clear this up.

I am the driver who spoke to fund director, Bob D'Ulisse during a break in our credit union board meeting on thursday, and I called up Buzz and told him! Hope this clears up anybody's thoughts that buzz is making that up! There was several drivers, shop stewards, delegates, trustees and credit union personal present at the table! As buzz stated if you don't phase your question right, you will get the wrong answer! Bob stated "1181 Pension Fund is covered by the PBGC, not 1181 union, atu credit union or the Health and Wealfare Fund". Hope this clears up and ends this B/S for All!
ps: If you don't know who I am, join the credit union and ask for me. I will be glad to answer any credit union questions you may have.

Hello everyone,

We are collecting for February parking now. See Joe MSG at the round table daily (when you fuel up) or myself. I get in at 6:15am and 4:35pm. MSG gets in at 6:30am and 4:00pm. We can fit maybe 1 or 2 more cars, so if you need a spot contact us. Payment is due by February 7th.

One car was towed out last week by the owner, the cost was $136.50  :cry2:. It's $68.05 once the tow puts the hook on, even if you get there before he leaves the property (tows you out). If you are sneaking in (toyota) the owner is going to have you towed. He has called me already to check. Please either pay like everybody else or don't park there! I have posted this as a warning, he will tow you. This is his livelyhood and his (private) property.

Thanks Again for putting the permits in window, and paying on time.

Hello All ,

If you picked a new run at AKR or a new Pioneer employee and need a spot to park your car we have spots available. If you parked here, and went to Sharrotts, please let me or Joe MSG know so we won't call you.

Payment is Due on the 1st Friday of Each Month!!! You MUST pay by then. The owner is willing to wait untill OUR pay day (Friday) and Not asking for it on the 1st of the month, as in the other lots.

Either pay Joe MSG or myself. MSG is in the barn at the round table each day (see MSG when you fuel up) or at 3:35pm, and I will be available at 6:50am and between 3:15 Monday, Thursday and Friday till 3:35pm, and 3:45 till 4:15 Tuesday and Wednesday. It is YOUR responsibility to meet up with US! If you find it hard to see us, then give payment to a friend that does see us at these times and locations.

We are NOT going to Track you down to get paid, you will be asked not to park there.

There are cars sneaking in often, I have left a note on your car(s) several times, we know your car(s). I will leave a warning note one more time, after that you will be towed by the owner! This is his livelyhood and private property. It's not fair or right to our paid members that you sneak in and take their spot. This is the your Final Warning!  :bomb:

Please All members display your parking permit in window.

The owner is there daily and checks. I do not need any calls from him "who's car is that".

"Thank You" to the Majority of you that pay on time.

Being you're using this website to convey a for-profit, commercial message, proper monetary compensation is expected.  ;D

When you are right, you are right! You can have a Free Week Parking during the Christmas Break, or exchange it for a week in August 2014. Just remember to put the permit in the window or you will be towed!!  :-*

We are now collecting for October parking. Please see Joe MSG or myself by friday 10/4. I will be at the barn thursday at 2:30 and the rest of the week 3:35 - 4:00 pm.. Joe MSG is at the round table after the morning run daily and after 4:00 pm..

Also there were atleast 6 extra cars in the lot today, probably due to the rope off street parking on AKR. I understand that there was less/no parking in the street when you came to work  :cry2:, but the lot is for PAID MEMBERS ONLY with PERMITS. There is a sign posted "PRIVATE PROPERTY VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED AT OWNER'S EXPENSE" with tow company's information.  If you did park there today you did take up a PAID MEMBER'S spot. They did call me early this morning to let me know that there was No Spot for them! If you want to park there let us know and we can change the parking patten to accommodate (you) more cars. It is NOT fair or right that they PAID for parking and You took their spot , I wrote down several plates and car info. that did not belong.

Members Thank You for displaying the permits in window, it was almost 100%   . It made my job easier and guarantees that you have your spot when you get in! Thank You Again!

and the President of the Municiple Credit Union is making 156,000.  Look at the front page of the NY Post.

We do not belong to the Municipal Credit Union (MCU). As Stated In The NY POST!

Our credit union is the Tranist Federal Credit Union (TFCU). It has nothing to do with the MCU! There is No President in our TFCU. We do have a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Board Directors. We also have a Supervisory Committee: Chairman, Secretary, Vice Chairman, and Board Directors. There is also a Credit Committee in our TFCU.

QUESS WHAT? WE GET PAID NOTHING!!!
WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS!!!

In the year 2011 our credit union Lost appx. $339,000. If you were at the annual credit union meeting when it was announced. The "Members For A Change" where in control of Our Credit Union at that time! Their NCUA (National Credit Union Association which is the Federal Govt.) rating since they took over FELL TO A 3! NCUA did impose stricter supervision!
There was a change of the board members in 2012 through our vote, and in the year ending our credit union (TFCU) HAD A PROFIT OF APPX. $375,000. It was also the first year in the past four years prior that a Dividend of $80,000 was paid to it's members including Gift Cards to our Sandy Victims.
Our Credit Union (TFCU)  NCUA rating was Raised to a 2 ( which is above average) in 2013!
Our Credit Union Employees (5) are paid by the credit union and Not by 1181.

So if Your going to make any False Accustions or False Comparison referring Our Credit Union TFCU you can see Any of it's BOARD MEMBERS which are ALWAYS available to You before you open your Mouth!

One more thing, I could fit a few more cars in the lot. You can park in front of the 2 "We Buy Cars" since they don't move, and maybe another 1 or 2 else where in the yard. I signed up 2 more this month already. I been asked for certain spots, the only one reserved is the first one the your right as you pull in by the street. Everything else is 1st. come 1st. served. Please put your name and your bus # on the card, just in case I have to contact you or any reason (lights, alarm etc).
Thanks Again!

I like to thank everyone who has already paid for parking at the Junkyard for March. The owner called me and asked me what should be done for February's rent. I said it would be nice if he could wave February's rent since we only parked a 1/2 month in January and February, Also nobody got paid and has any money. He agreed and suggested let's start over for March. That was manly of him since he is a bussiness man, and proves a gentleman too. Not like other PARKING LOTS! He expects payment on the first Friday on each month from me, so it does not have to be on the 1st. of the month, which is also being a gentleman before a bussiness man! It is diffucult for me to catch everyone, so please see me (Gary 209) or Joe MSG 229. Joe is at the round table every day at the barn. Please put the parking cards in the window, the owner is there every day and does check them also. On another note RNS Collision has asked to rent the front yard (ours) and his workers do park behind the fence already. There are several other companies that do park behind the fence. As you see there are other cars in the front ( 2 WE BUY CARS) and cars for sale at times, so the front area is prime. Let's be equally manly and pay on time. Thank You Gary 209.
ps: Jimmy says Hello to All!!!
