That's enough.  This place has gone so far downhill.  From mgt to the union, to dealing with edp drivers with cell phones who should be fired instead they're still driving children around.  Very soon there should be a three day walkout without notice.  Come on already.  I'm not talking full out strike but let's wake up.  Get the union drivers out of the office except Andy and Ernie, they should not be there .  It doesn't matter what they do, stop filling runs, start at start time and let's change some things around here.  Sorry for the rant  >:(

I am happy to see that mgt. did not take her actions lightly.  A great job done by a seasoned driver.  Now lets see our union president congratulate her by paying pioneer a visit and giving her a well deserved plaque or something. Do not leave it up to Andy or Ernie (which I am sure they would gladly do).  This situation could have gone terribly wrong and it didn't.  Proper acknowledgement for performance far beyond the norm.  Terrific job.

Some of the mechanics are nice guys.  Some (Mohawk) treat us like crap. Rumor has it he tried to get mechanics to cross picket line.  Any truth?  Why when you need to get something fixed do they basically walk away from you unless you grease their palm.  Remember when the window was uncovered in the defect room.  You had to see Steve.  That lasted about a month....window covered.  Glorified gas station attendants.

Thanks Buzz for taking the initiative.  Everybody who can should kick in.  Every little bit helps.  Ed is a real good guy who will help any driver he could.  Get well Ed you are missed.

1181 Matters / Re: Mandatory Metting 10/30

What type of vote is this......a vote of intimidation?....all who vote this way stand over here.  All who vote that way stand over there.  Where is the courtesy of a privacy vote instead of everyone knowing which way you voted or how you feel.   There should be much screaming and yelling just like the other meetings at that place.   Two times I got closed out of the meetings there due to factors such as too crowded or arriving late with the pioneer bus or school safety closing the doors.  Yes all of thosee things happened.  How about the time that there was almost fights there.  Remember that?  I know of plenty of drivers who are not going to attend because there is no longer any trust of the union.  Has our union head visited our property since the election?   I have not seen him.  Maybe I missed him....not.  What ever happened to the statement by our elected union head that replaced Eddie that there will not be any more exorbitant fines payed any more.  Very hard to comprehend all the issues going on and to have undaunting faith.

Sorry for the rant.

After I have literally analyzed each candidate, in comparison to each other, I have made my decision.  I have not been influenced by anybody.  I have tried to weigh the pros and cons of various aspects of this election and our future.  For those of you on the fence do what I have done and make your own decision based upon who you believe would be best for your future.  I am voting the entire Cordiello slate.  No looking back.

Another day and no check.  This has been the most fugazy issue I've ever been through.  We have no leadership who grabs the bull and gets answers.  Yes we can call the nlrb but we will get schmoozed.  Why do we have nothing but rumors?   Yeah sure. 1181. The best.  Do something!

The schools chancellor just stated that the main reasons public schools are open is that the children have a "safe haven and what about all the kids that would miss a hot lunch.  In addition it would disrupt parents work schedules".   Omg.... :bomb:

This is precisely what is meant by no communication from the UNION. It takes a driver to engage the owner in a conversation and get good information and tell it to the troops rather than hear it from our paid reps.  This info was not made up yesterday.   It may not matter in what way we hear this perplexing  information to some people, but I think we should be kept up to date in a better manner....just my opinion.  Thanks Buzz.    :perplexed:

If I'm correct those 355 drivers at AE were the same guys who were laughing at pioneer on the strikeline giving us snd their matrons the finger as they were driving by....getting in verbal fights with pioneer.  Their union Rep acted like we were scum.   I for one will never forget that and will never ever acknowledge one of those drivers from that location.

DELAY THE PICK.  We should have the right and opportunity to sit down and review this proposed contract before we pick.  Why?  Because once again it affects our pockets...potential double days (if that will still exist), overtime ??, should we pick public, Jewish, Catholic, etc.  All $$$$ that some guys pick in relation to.  C,mon,  The pick is basically all we have and it can easily be delayed.  To hear highlights is not good enough.  You know that turns into a screaming match over issues.  And by the way, not everyone will be able to make it to the "meeting in the yard".  Second jobs, child care, appointments.  C'mon if it affects our pockets DELAY THE PICK.  If it were not for our stewards we would know nothing....just like on the strike line.   :bomb:

Received mine several mos. ago.  The box I believe is N1 it is the one where you can drive interstate and you mail a COPY of our annual medical form.  It is the choice without all the bs endorsements...unless you have a hazmat then you have to go to dmv.  I hope this helps.
