kids on hylan blvd can not go to school, but kids on forest ave can go... this is king cuomo and his micro cluster shit, which hasnt been updated since 11-23 and its a gaurantee if they did all of NYC would be red zoned by now...

The schools located within the so called orange and reds zones just need to apply to reopen follow the procedures and they should be open rather quickly. Not sure why the public schools haven't done that already since it appears some catholic schools have such as St. Pats in Richmond Town.
And if all the schools are required to follow the new testing procedures laid out by Dumblasio they shouldn't have to shut down again unless it's a system wide shut down. The weekly required testing going forward is more stringent than the testing required from the state. Let's just hope the BOE sets the wheels in motion sooner than later and gets these public schools open ASAP.

i think all the students and staff need to  be tested before school can reopen... how the hell they going to get all these public schools students tested in the orange zone...

Hammer2161

If they were smart they would open the school for one day administer the tests to all students and faculty wait for the results and then move forward with opening the schools.
If they do it all at once at the school they can have a much more streamlined opening since they can control the entire timeline from testing to school reopening.

I don't think so ... dB is saying 20% per week to get tested. Cuomo says 25%.

Just like you can eat at Goodfella's but not at Mac's Public House! Go figure.  @#$%

You know it would also make sense for them to then use the 25 percent as a weekly testing number so that they can satisfy both the state and city and potentially avoid any unnecessary school closures going forward. I am willing to bet in a lot of schools that extra 5 percent would not amount to a lot more tests being administered.

BUT HEY WHAT DO I KNOW !!!!  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I really think that within 2 weeks all schools are going to be closed again anyway.

I truly hope not Buzz, but it surely is looking that way. Positive test results are skyrocketing over 11000 positives results yesterday. Not looking very good at this point.

Guess I'll get ready for another week of Netflix....

Nothing against you guys but it's just fucking annoying that my schools are open and I won't be able to work. I know "union shop" sorry but it's just frustrating.

I believe just the opposite. After the holidays which is approximately 2 weeks all the schools will be open.

Yes, probably. But I think they will close before the break.

Well if they open them just to shut them back down before the break this really is a total fucking disgrace. I feel like I am playing monkey in the middle between Dumblasio and Cuomo. And my feet are encased in 100lb cement blocks.
