In all my years I have never seen a more vindictive person than our present gm.he has gotten rid of at least 20 people I know of since he started as gm.I mean WTF? What I hear on the rumor mill is Neil will be sorry for his choice, the chatter in the company is he hurt so many people that drivers and escorts want to try and rebel and walk out to open Neil's eyes. And from what I hear it's going to happen soon. I personally have called the union to see what can be done about this tyrant. I suggest the phones up at our delegates should be ringing off the wall. Something must be done. Let's call for a yard meeting. Let's get together with our steward and delegates. Let's find out what can be done to rid us of this animal. I'm sure if we put our heads together we can find a solution. Let's ban together.Whos is favor of going against Neil and the gm?? Now is the time to be heard. Please call the union ,all our futures are at stake.

Let me also add.I don't normally post on here about issues.But it's time all the people that work here and put their time in have a voice.What use to be a great job has fallen in the mud.Let's face it fellow co workers. You all must be going home just as frustrated as I do.Get out there and have our shop steward and delegates hear our pleas.

You are right in your post about our GM and Neil Etc. However you will never get these pussies on the job to ban together. The City Workers killed this job and the Union allowed it. Look around one day and count how many city workers have new buses. And the GM is a city worker. How many city workers lost their jobs. I don't know of any, do you. Neil only knows one thing he is making more money now then he has ever made in his entire life.The other ones who get new buses are the ones in the office. My point is you kiss ass with the office you win. You came from a city job you got it may. So the ones that are left are the working slobs like myself which are not many. So if you think for one moment that you can get people on this job to walk with you, you are dead wrong. However I do wish you luck, but it will never happen. For me I think I will be looking for a new job real soon.

Listen we need to wake up the so called pussies because it's their job as well as ours. This is a cry for help among all the workers. It's not about new buses or ass kissers. When someone is drunk on the job and is turned in by a school official do you really expect that person to keep his or her job? When someone has an accident and doesn't report it than after the fact is given the chance to report it and still denies it do you really expect that person to keep his or her job? Sometimes my fellow Brothers & Sisters we have to take off the blinders and see things as they are!!

Please STOP defending someone for losing their job over minor infractions, You get me sick with that statement.WTF!!!!and as for city workers..... I am one.... And one who has been vocal with the powers that be on ALL issues, the problem is that the ppl senior to me... More than 25 years got COMFORTABLE with summers off and the like... So they all had their head in the sand and now realize they are screwed. Shit comes full circle and y'all let it happen!

Well said John. To worker341 although I respect your opinion I have to disagree. You post a comment under the title "Lets Ban Together" then you do just the opposite and call some of your Brothers & Sisters pussies. How do you expect co-workers to listen to your views when you start out by putting then down. As far as retired City Workers ruining this job and the Union allowing it nothing could be further from the truth. First of all eventhough these members already have pensions the majority of them need this job just like anyone else otherwise they wouldn't be working. Secondly with regards to the Union allowing it your not taking the big picture into account. Eventhough retired City Workers may make up a large percentage of members at Pioneer they are a VERY SMALL percentage in this industry. Believe me this Union is not favoring them. As I repeatedly have said "Do your job & do it right."

Owen is a strict boss and a stickler for the rules. Sometimes he does things that are harsh. However, as a former city worker, I can assure you there were some bosses in the PD that made Owen look good. I think the problem here is that some people ,especially people that have been here a long time, don't even know what a real scumbag boss is.

I get what your saying John . But HOW did we all let it happen? I mean I know I didn't personally allow Bloomfuck to destroy the epp. And I am a senior driver and worked summers.So I am sure there are those few you are referring to.

But PEOPLE the issue is NOW. We still need to stand up and tell our delegates to do something or we will.

What Owen does best is harass people. Once he has his victim in his sights, he don't stop. He starts by putting a camera in their bus, than giving them old busses to work with, bringing them in for bs hearings, ets. The only one who truly deserved termination was the drunk. With old Carol, they made a mountain out of a mole hill. Who hasn't gone past busses with their signs out when you get to a school late ? Happens all the time. Young Carol is simply being harassed. Sue hit a fixed object, no one on the bus, could have gotten a pass. No one would have known, with all her years. Old Carol and Sue were handed to him on a platter without even a fight, because they had a history with him, if anybody knows. He made it personal, and no one will stop him.

It won't end on this website.We have to get our delegates involved.Let them know what is going on.Take the gm's power away.He is only strong if we all stay quiet.Neil is a snake in the grass and proved it when we were on strike and he blew smoke up everyone's ass saying how he wanted the family friendly business to run smooth again.What the fuk does he care he doesn't have the gm sniffing his ass waiting for him to make some stupid mistake.
What happened to his speech "go back to work let's be family"? Why does he allow the gm to target mostly women? If I'm not mistaken that is a sexual harassment suite just waiting to happen. I guess Neil won't mind if all the women the gm is harassing takes his ass to court.
