The good news, according to this article, is that the case against MSG will likely be dropped at the end of January. The bad news is that he and the company are being sued for $1,000,000.

He can probably be re-certified but that doesn't necessarily mean Pioneer will take him back. As for back pay, he'll probably have to file an Article 78, I believe. (Unless OPT agrees to do so willingly.)
