Including tomorrow, Wednesday, May 4, I count only 35 more days of [public] school. Memorial Day, May 30 and June 7 (clerical day), 9 ("Anniversary day") and 20 (Juneteenth, whatever the fuck that is) are holidays.

Seems too good to be true!!
I am patient with stupidity, but not with those who are proud of it.

The week that we are off June 7th and 9th can us new hires claim UI for only working 3 days?

Should also be interesting who works this year for summer school. Last year the choice was made based off the extra UI money coming in

Yes ... you will get 25% of your weekly benefit.

Doesn't it also depend on how much money you make for those 3 days?
If you gross more than $504 isn't it correct that you cannot collect no matter how many days you work or don't work?

Absolutely. I'm assuming the poster is eligible for UI ... meaning makes less than $504 for the days worked.

I'll have to check the contract (all you have to do is check your paycheck ) but I believe that any new hire that has been here more than two years makes at least $21 an hour. $21 an hour or more for 24 hours means NO unemployment.

Kid24

Yeah I'm over the 504 mark can't claim

Kid24

Yeah I'm at 23.58 now. I'm over 504 for 3 days. July I go to 25.26
