Can anyone recommend a repair person or business that can be trusted to repair a dell inspiron 530 desk top .

Fugheddaboutit. You could buy a used 530 in working condition for less than $200. Probably cost you more than that to fix and you still have a dinosaur. Break down and buy a new one, cheapskate!

Google your make and model ... I'm tellin' ya' ... less than $200 used, so if it cost more than that to get repaired ...

A new one ... LOL. I don't know specifically ... I'll be looking for one myself soon. All I have is this laptop. Two PCs destroyed in the storm. But I haven't started shopping yet. Good sales this time of year before start of school. Any name brand will do ... don't spend more than $500-600 on a bundle (PC, monitor, printer).

Desktop ... if you only want to buy the computer, just make sure your monitor and printer will work with the version of Windows that comes with the new PC. (Probably Windows
