Quote from: WhatBusToday on June 11, 2026, 06:36:46 PMIs there official word when we will be getting paid for this? Will everyone be paid based off when they show proof to the office?

They're planning on waiting until everybody has done the course PLUS the  PowerPoint training that we usually get at the end of the year which we'll get next weekend. So they're figuring on lumping them all together and we'll get paid either the 26th or the 3rd.

It's money in the bank!  ;D  ;D  ;D

Quote from: WhatBusToday on June 10, 2026, 09:11:03 PMDo we have to hand in the confirmation email or the certificate we are getting mailed to us? And whom do we give it to?

Hand in the completion email to the office and a copy of the certificate when you get it.

Yes, Patrick told me this morning he would put one in.

Today's email ...

So ... what's to stop someone from working on it during the week but not finishing it until the weekend ... which is when the confirmation email will be dated? (And why do they care???)

June 10, 2026, 04:48:00 PM

The other day one of our drivers had to get inspected but he couldn't use his bus because the wipers weren't working. They gave him the spare 377 to use for the inspection. When told to do a radio check he realized there was no bus radio microphone. Without skipping a beat the driver picked up the intercom mike (doesn't work either), faked a call and the inspector heard several "loud and clear" return messages ... intended for other buses, but what did he know? LOL!

I believe the accrual check is this Thursday or Friday. Can you confirm.

According to the 1181 calendar yes, the 12th is the date for accrual .... I mean "wage adjustment" ... checks.  ;D

Quote from: PROUD MEMBER on June 08, 2026, 11:37:53 AMAnd you just confirmed that yourself. Instead of saying that you would contact the Delegate, you say we shouldn't have to contact the Delegate.
I suggested it to Scott and believe he will bring it up with John Cleary.

@PROUD MEMBER ... Nobody complained because 4 hours amounted to more than time and a half. Nobody spent that long doing those PDFs. (We're getting them in 2 weeks, BTW).

This was different. The timer doesn't lie. We did our 40 hours Monday through Friday. The law says we get paid overtime after that. We shouldn't have to convince the union of that.

Quote from: PROUD MEMBER on June 08, 2026, 12:00:28 AMMy opinion is the Union should make sure each of us get paid a minimum of 7 hours which just happens to be how long it took me.

On our personal time? No ... at least time and a half.
