Admitting they messed up without admitting they messed up putting drivers SAFETY and students at risk....BUT won't admit Tuesday was all about being a baby sitting service for the day

NYC Public School twitter states:
"The safety of our students, staff, and families as they travel to and from school is of the utmost importance. We encourage you to please use caution while traveling and allow for additional travel time."

This is literally the complete opposite of caring about safety. Blocks aren't plowed, no where to park, two way streets will be one way streets, school buses DO NOT belong on the road tomorrow. Way to go mayor douchebag and not use remote learning for this specific situation

A lot of late reports and a lot of drivers who can't get out of their own development and blocks. He's putting children and drivers lives at risk by taking school buses. This is clearly a baby sitting issue. Last snow storm the roads and side streets were not safe for school buses to be on, tomorrow will be 100 percent times worse BUT hey Kids gotta eat especially at dangerous conditions. City buses were getting stuck today on main roads, school buses will get stuck tomorrow and will be at risk at hitting other cars when two way streets become one way streets or going up and down hills dealing with cars that at parked hanging into the streets just like last time....bad decision. It was bad last time it's gonna be worse this time

Same here Buzz. I did what I could around my car and in front of my car but unless plow plows out in front of me I can't get out. Not even that just the fact that putting buses on side streets and the main roads are dangerous in its own way. City buses are getting stuck today, could you imagine school buses tomorrow. Tomorrow needs to be remote so it could be clean up day.

Hope it don't even snow now lol... After what happened last time we Should have Tuesday off too, an extra day for sanitation to get the streets in order for cars and buses to drive down streets and park

It also is almost impossible to fuel on mandatory days when on a trip run too...gas up Wednesday but you have a trip Thursday and Friday one of which is off Island and you don't have time to gas Monday prior to going your AM because you gotta go across the island for your first pick up.....

I'm sure he called it in...also a possibility he didn't know he hit it either. people also fail to realize how people themselves didn't shovel themselves out the day after the storm and are parking like idiots in the street making it impossible for cars yet alone buses to navigate on side streets
